Seven sisters

in the arts
from November 2007

As reported last month, local lezzie a cappella group, The Deep C Divas, have been a touch busy. Rather than basking in the glory of their performance at YLAF, the gals are putting the final touches to their new show Syncopating Sisters - a night of music and comedy at the spangly new Seven Artspace in Chapel Allerton, Leeds. They welcome The Top Shelalas who claim they will transport you from Renaissance Spain to the Texas campfire, calling at both familiar, folky and their own original stops along the way. Also performing at Seven will be comedy country and western duo, The Wyncyettes for a night of harmonic bliss and laughing out loud. It’s on 24th November from 8.00pm. Tickets are £9.00, £7.00 conc and for tickets/info ring or email or buy from the bar at Seven. (Seven is a fully accessible venue.) Address: Seven Artspace in Chapel Allerton, Leeds
Phone: Tickets/info ring 0797 0904 196
Times: 24th November from 8.00pm
Email: deepcdivas@ntlworld.com
