Felching in Yorkshire

Following an unrelenting schedule of rehearsals and gigs around Yorkshire Pride Events this summer, Jesus and the Felch Monkeys roared back with their first performance in Leeds since heading up the Leeds Pride March back in August.

Performing at The Bridge on Sunday 21st October the band mixed dazzling showmanship with a set list boasting such faves as I Predict a Riot, Diamonds are Forever and a funked up These Boots are Made for Walking!? They took their bow at The Bridge with a full house and had the place jumping with a bright energetic performance the like of which must be seen to be believed.

Speaking of the night, Daisy Dupont, hostess at The Bridge, was left speechless for the first time ever. ‘For once in my life I couldn’'t find a bad word to say. I can’t find a good word either, but they did leave the crowd shouting out for more! They really are a band that you must see.’

Jesus and the Felch Monkeys will start their run of gigs around Yorkshire headlining a fundraising event for World Aids Day at the Sun Hotel in Bradford on Sunday 2nd December. The band will then return home to Leeds after a short London tour mid-December with a special Christmas show at The Bridge on Sunday 23rd December.
