O'Hooley on the box
in the arts
from November 2005

Local singer Belinda O’Hooley’s star continues to rise, with appearances on the box very soon.

O’Hooley has confirmed that she will be appearing on both BBC’s Look North and ITV’s Calendar this month to promote her Winter Acoustic Tour (see ad on front page for details). O’Hooley who is also featured in this month’s Diva magazine will be performing songs from her critically-acclaimed debut album Music Is My Silence live in the studio. ‘It’s a great opportunity for me to sing my songs to a new audience who will hopefully come and see me on tour’. O’Hooley did however express one concern: ‘If the “uproariously funny” Clitty Rubquick finds out I’m going on television without her, I’ll be in serious trouble!’

O’Hooley’s June tour sold out in many venues so please be advised to book early.
