Queer art experience in Sheffield

in the arts
from June 2007

Queer art fans from Sheffield and beyond are invited to the opening of a new exhibition of pictures, photographs and electronic images, on the theme of being lgbt in South Yorkshire.

‘It takes place on Friday 22nd June from 5.30pm-8pm and all artists and their friends, as well as the public, are invited to attend,’ says Dan Kahn, the organiser. ‘The exhibition runs until Tuesday 31st July. If the show proves to be a success, I hope to make it a regular event, as part of a month of arts events linked with a future local gay Pride.’

Access Space, the venue on Sydney Street, is only five minutes’ walk from Sheffield train station and and there’s a pay-and-display car-park directly behind the building. For more information, including opening times and instructions for delivery of exhibition pieces, see contact details below. Address: Sydney Street, Sheffield
Phone: Dan J J Kahn on 0789 647 4243 or Access Space on 0114-249-5522.
