Leeds
The Meat Rack at The Penny is back!
‘Now hosted by Anna Glypta,’ Anna herself tells us, ‘it’s open till 2am every Thursday with some of the best male strippers around. It’s the only men-only space on the scene in Leeds.’
And The Penny has just had a brand new sound and light system worth thousands of pounds installed, we’re told, and has changed its Friday night DJ line up a little.
Leeds’ The Base continues its tradition of top Sunday night cabaret with the welcome return of Lizzie Drip on February 5th and The Boy George Experience (above) on the 12th. See page four for details.
Sheffield
Sheffield now has a brand new gay bar - Lion’s Den! Hidden just behind the Peace Gardens on Burgess Street, it boasts ‘a stylish interior and a relaxed, sophisticated atmosphere’. see the ad on the front cover for details.
